On the morning of May 29, entrusted by the Huazhong University of Science and Technology Xuezi Xinyuan Project, the Modernization Professional Committee of Hubei Civil Engineering and Architecture Society organized relevant experts to hold a special technical consultation meeting on prefabricated buildings. This consultation meeting was held in Wuhan University of Technology, the chairman unit of the special committee. The meeting invited five consulting experts, including Gu Qian, chairman of the special committee, Peng Linli, vice chairman, and Chen Rongliang, Wang Hongjun and Tan Yuan, members of the special committee. Relevant leaders and representatives from the project construction unit, general contractor unit and prefabricated component production enterprise attended the meeting.

The Huazhong University of Science and Technology Xuezi Xinyuan Project is located in the campus of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Qiaokou District, Wuhan, with a total construction area of about 51,500 square meters, including two underground floors and 26 above-ground floors. The prefabrication rate of the project is 50.2%, and the technical system of assembled monolithic concrete composite shear wall structure is adopted. The consulting entrusting unit first introduced the general situation of the project, the implementation plan of prefabricated technology, the deepening design of composite shear wall components and joints, etc. The experts present elaborated on the relevant basic research work and engineering application effects of the technical standard formulation for the assembled monolithic concrete composite shear wall structure system in response to the key technical issues of the project consultation, fully interpreted the implementation principles of relevant node design and structural requirements in national standards, Hubei local standards and central south regional standard atlases, clarified the key links that need attention in prefabricated special design and construction, and put forward optimization suggestions related to production processes and construction measures in combination with the structural characteristics and architectural functional requirements of the project.

With the aim of promoting the modernization development of the construction industry in our province, the Modernization Special Committee of Hubei Civil Engineering and Architecture Society will continue to carry out technical consultation and academic exchange activities, carry out scientific and technological service work oriented by the needs of enterprises and projects, track and pay attention to the project implementation process, and help build "good house" quality projects.
